Alpha Release Reception


Hello everyone.

Yesterday I released an early version of my first ever serious game-making project: Clockwork TD. In only the first day, the game has received 50 views and 25 plays. I know that's not a lot in the grand scheme of things, but I'm incredibly grateful that anybody played it at all. I'm extremely thankful to the people who gave detailed criticism about the game. I'm excited to announce that I'll incorporate this feedback into a balance patch which should be released sometime tomorrow night.  I'll also be working on a couple bug fixes and exploit patches to make the game more challenging.

I don't plan on pushing many patches beyond tomorrow's for a couple weeks, as I'd only like to put out new releases to show major versions of the game. That said, the next major version should be the beta; the full game in an unpolished state featuring the full campaign mode in addition to the current endless mode.

I know few people will read this, but thank you for playing, itch!
